Senior Contracts Administrator – Construction Management Associates

Key Objective:
Monitoring the timely flow of information to prevent delays and understanding, administering, and enforcing conditions of the contract during different phases of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Compiling and preparing bid documents and bidders list
Identifying unacceptable risks and highlighting for customer risk review prior to bid submittals
Reviewing tender evaluation and recommendation
Analyzing conditions of contract at tender stage
Reviewing contract documents and analyzing conditions of contract/ subcontract
Preparing contract and subcontract agreements • Reviewing baseline schedule
Evaluating contractors’ submissions on trends, variations / claims etc and advising on contractual validities
Coordinating with contract administration team to draft contractual correspondence
Preparing extension of time claims
Assessing extension of time claims and cost claims
Monitoring compliance to contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the final invoice.

Required Experience:
7+ years of contract administration experience in the construction industry
Expertise in FIDIC and international law standards for contract commercial terms and conditions
GCC experience is a plus
