Senior Organizational Development Specialist – Contract hire – Nawah

To guide and execute the design & development of Nawah’s organization structure in order to support the company in achieving its strategic objectives. To guide and execute the process for the annual manpower planning exercise in order to allocate the correct number of positions required. To ensure the availability of the job descriptions and the integrity of data related to Organization Development and Manpower Planning (ODMP) within HRMS (Oracle and SAP); within strategy documents; and within corporate performance reports.
Organization Design
Assess and rationalize both existing and newly proposed organizational structures at routine and regular intervals, minimally once per year. Guide and implement the resulting organizational changes in a manner that aligns with organizational vision, mission, values, goals, and objectives.
Contribute to business re-engineering, including analysis of changes to the organization structure i.e. deletion of jobs/sections/divisions or merging jobs/ sections/ divisions, and linking the organization structure design with the organization's overall strategy while ensuring organizational efficiency and improving performance.
Liaise with line managers in order to design jobs that support potential internal mobility opportunities for the employees, to ensure that business continuity is linked with employee satisfaction.
Develop new initiatives for the organizational structure design that would facilitate manpower planning, succession planning, career development and recruitment.
Manpower Planning
Guide and execute the process for the annual manpower planning exercise for all Divisions including the sending of pre-agreed formats, receipt of the information on timely basis, corresponding with relevant Divisions who have not furnished the information and compilation of the Manpower Plan by the stated deadline.
Collect, review and analyze headcount and manpower in order to identify new Human Capital requirements and redundancies at routine and regular internvals. Provide Head of Organizational Development & Manpower Planning (Head of ODMP) with findings of the collation and analysis of the data with associated recommendations.
Monitor the distribution of staff, attrition rates, and any other relevant manpower measure for integration in routine analysis and recommendations.
Produce timely, relevant and informative statistics and reports. Develop all reports on excel, develop macros if required, and comfortable with formulas and graphs.
Policies and Procedures for ODMP
Provide guidance on and participate in the development of Policies and Procedures related to Organizational Design and Manpower Planning. Assess current and future policy requirements to support strategic aims in conjunction with the Head of Organizational Development and Manpower Planning as appropriate.
Research best practice in order to facilitate the best policy and procedure design for ODMP.
Support the implementation of new ODMP policies and procedures and the routine review and updates of ODMP policies and procedures already in place.
Provide guidance and collaborate with other HCM Departments on the integration and application of other HCM policies and procedures.
Job Descriptions (JD)
Review job roles to ensure that there is no overlap in duties and responsibilities across the organization; the JD fairly represents the position on the organizational chart; the requried competence, qualifications and years of experience is an accurate representation of need according to the nuclear industry standards; and establish consistent reporting lines in the organization.
Ensure the availability of up-to-date JDs for the whole organization and maintain their accuracy via routine and regular review cycles.
