Senior Recruitment Officer

Responsible for ensuring that manpower needs are identified and the organization is provided with adequate competent employees, through planning and managing the recruitment process, searching and evaluating candidates to choose the most appropriate candidates in line with the approved manpower plan.
 Coordinate with the Department Manager to prepare the recruitment plan and identify recruitment requirements, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and competencies to support the attraction and selection of talent for all positions within the organization.
 Implement set sourcing strategies to assist with the recruitment of talent to meet hiring needs.
 Utilize social and professional networking and career sites to identify and source candidates.
 Review applications & CVs and assess the suitability of candidates against pre-defined criteria as well as job specification.
 Build effective working relationships with educational institutions, alumni groups, employment agencies and advertising agencies for recruitment purposes.
 Maintain and stay updated regarding internal job posting to ensure all vacant positions are occupied.
 Undertake professional, telephone screening/ interviews with candidates against a pre-defined set of competencies.
 Perform reference and background checks on applicants and conduct comprehensive orientation sessions.
 Schedule, conduct, and liaise interviews between the candidate and the Department Manager, administer tests and evaluate applicant qualifications.
 Prepare offers to successful applicants, negotiate when necessary and regret unsuccessful applicants.
 Manage rejected candidates and maintain a database of candidates for future requirements.
 Handle the mobilization of employees upon acceptance of the offer, as well as, coordinate the candidate’s visa & travel arrangements, accommodation for overseas candidates.
 Ensure that all necessary information and documents are gathered from the candidate.
 Coordinates on boarding of new employees with other internal departments such as IT, Accommodation, etc.
 Assist with the planning and execution of job fairs, open houses and career events.
 Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
