Responsible for identifying, initiating, pursuing, soliciting and developing profitable SMEs business for the bank through skillful product marketing, and sound credit judgement with a view to enhancing the bank’s loan and deposit portfolio and to devise ways to further strengthen existing relationships, in keeping with the bank’s primary objective of profit maximization.
Assist Head of SMEs to manage and develop the SMEs portfolio.
Identify market opportunities and conduct initial market screening
Manage, develop, enhance utilization and maximize account profitability of the assigned Area’s region portfolio
Cross selling bank’s products and achieve assigned budget
Assist in obtaining information / analysis on assigned accounts to the Sector including industry studies.
Develop marketing call program (together with the concerned Branch Manager) with a view to soliciting new profitable business relationships and developing existing relationships making regular calls on clients and potential clients and documenting these communications in call memos for presentation to higher officials.
Evaluate a credit relationship employing sound credit appraisal / techniques / principles in line with current Bank’s policy, CPM, AOM, SME-M in addition to local regulations.
Reviewing package presented by team members; study and analyze credit packages, structure credit facilities & mitigate risks.
Ensure protection of the Banks assets at all times by closely monitoring the account relationship documentation and collateral position and promptly suggesting classification whenever it is deemed necessary and as per the Bank’s CPM and local regulations.
Responsible for obtaining all security / support and other conditions stipulated by the sanction from the customer before utilization of facilities.
Fully responsible for all the contents of the credit application (analysis, market information, business information …etc) and its related correspondences, based on which the credit judgment and decision is taken by the concerned authority.
Maintain regular and close follow up of SMEs accounts under his/her control in regards to account performance, market perception concerning the industry or the customer personally.
Contribute to the profitability of the bank by achieving lending and deposit budget, broken down into monthly targets for respective area.
Responsible for all classified SMEs accounts in the related to the Branch
Ensure that H-SMEs and respective Branch Manager are kept informed of all matters relating to existing and potential SMEs business.
Training/developing and guidance of the team members.
