This position is responsible for the organizations Enterprise Risk Management program which includes program development, and providing both oversight and direction for management of risks across the Organization.
The position holder will partner with the organisations leadership team to ensure risks are identified, and considered in the development of strategic vision, and proactively manage to balance the risk and return of the business. I
– Develop the Enterprise Risk Management Policy for the Organization.
– Guiding integration of enterprise risk management with other organizational planning and management activities
– Liaise with stakeholders in ensuring completion of quality division/ directorate/ department departmental risk registers
– Identify training needs for risk management and oversee development of enterprise risk competence and awareness across the Organization.
– Evaluate the adequacy of the company’s internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing the company’s goals and objectives;
– Monitor implementation of action plans to ensure risk mitigation efforts are proceeding as required. • Proactively identify emerging risks and report to relevant stakeholders
– Develop risk management system and train departmental risk champions on implementation
– Quantify the risks in “numbers” and present the quarterly risk report to the management
– Test” the effectiveness of cascading risk management approach to business decision making
