A reputed regional player with a substantial direct distribution foot print across the GCC in the consumer goods sector is looking for a seasoned professional to come on board.
Simply stated …Starting with the key market of Saudi Arabia and going across the GCC you would work on identifying the gaps for route to market, developing a strategy unique to each market and work closely with stakeholders in deploying the same. RTM is not very well understood or deployed in certain markets and you need to carry in depth experience of execution obstacles and evolving a strategy which the teams can build their growth around.
The incumbent needs to be a results driven individual who can drive change at the business level, help conceptualize, define, develop and deliver innovative route to market strategies, improve the Point of buying execution standards, defining and realigning best practices for distributor management, overseeing the capability agenda, has deep insight into sales and distribution. Driving efficiencies and productivity for growth.
A "thought leader" you should have a consultative and collaborative approach.
