Regional FMCG Investment business in Doha, Qatar
– Manage development of a KPI infrastructure for analysis and reporting of performance against strategic objectives, and ensure its adoption by the businesses; Manage development of periodic performance reports for corporate and business leaders and facilitate cross-functional performance review meetings for corporate and business leaders- Bring together various types of information (operational performance, competitor performance, markets, innovations, etc), from a variety of sources (internal and external), to develop "strategic options" as input for the periodic strategy reviews by corporate and business leaders- Develop a de-centralized activity planning and budgeting process, and ensure its adoption by the businesses;- Manage development of corporate plan and budget (P&B) by guiding the planning & budgeting activities performed by the businesses.- Establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable and quantitative comprehensive plans.- Manage development of strategic threats identification, classification and evaluation processes, and ensure their adoption by the businesses;- Provide different scenarios for mitigating possible risks and provide recommendations;- Manage development of periodic strategic risk reports for corporate and business leaders, and facilitate cross-functional strategic risk review meetings for corporate and business leaders- Act as a strategy coach to all heads of business units to provide needed support in formulating their own strategic plans and ensure compliance with the company strategic plan.- On an ad hoc basis, lead the execution of strategic initiatives, engaging stakeholders of all businesses.
– Academic degree-
– Work Experience:
– 10 – 15 years of relevant professional corporate experience, with direct exposure to top management levels or other decision makers.- Experience in FMCG, Food (and agriculture) is a must.- Experience in Middle East & GCC (experience in Qatar is a plus).- Experience in consulting/strategy firms is a plus.- Wide spectrum experience (sourcing, logistics & distribution, marketing & sales)-
