Main purpose of job
To provide technical support to customers for all products supplied
by the company so that they make the best use of those products and
any problems are resolved.
Main responsibilities
1. Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that they are
provided with all necessary technical support.
2. Respond to customer complaints and resolve any technical problems
to ensure that company products are working effectively and
the customer is satisfied with the service provided.
3. Provide feedback to any relevant company departments about
complaints and problems to try to ensure that these do not arise
in the future.
4. Investigate any claims made against the company by the customer
and negotiate an acceptable settlement where possible.
5. Maintain an awareness of developments in products and in the
industry in general and pass any relevant findings to the appropriate
6. Organize site visits and product trials for prospective customers
and report results to relevant managers in the company.
7. Maintain contact with the shipping department in relation to
damage to goods, inspection of return loads etc.
