1.Technical training management: Support for identification of technical training needs and for the preparation of mid and short term training strategies and plans and work with other departments on integration within Operations plans. Ensure that training programs are designed, developed, delivered, evaluated and updated in line with the PMI Best Training Practices. Analyze training department activities and performance, take appropriate actions to increase the added value of training.
2.Supervise and conduct technical trainings: Conduct technical training programs on one or more types of machines, systems or disciplines, while following the appropriate lesson plans and lesson guides using proven, effective methods and techniques. Supervise the trainees during formal and informal training programs, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. Conduct knowledge and skill testing to ensure that employees have the required skills, knowledge and ability to perform at required standards.
3. Continuous improvement: Eventually participate in projects, process improvement, troubleshooting analyses or other technical or non technical activities to improve the overall performance of the factory, either as a development activity or when high expertise of the trainer is required. Develop new trainings programs and review periodical and improve existing programs, instructions and procedures. Support for developing and review production and maintenance working instructions and procedures.
4.Documentation: Develop and review manuals, instructions and procedures for training process, propose them and get approval for implementation from decision factors. Analyse and document training results based on trainee performance and participate /advise management in the decision making process to qualify or fail trainees through the training courses. Update training materials and procedures related to machines upgrades, improvements or production flow changes.
5.Reporting and Communication: Effectively communicate with personnel from other departments with whom he/she works. Keeps management and involved departments informed on training planning status, trainees performance and inform immediately about unexpected events that could hinder in original plans or normal operation. Ensure that delivered training and other training department activities are recorded in an appropriate record keeping system. Ensure that departmental objectives and targets are set, recorded and proper communicated and understood within the team and within organization. Manage relationship with other affiliates, OEM's and external partners in regard to the technical training and technical support. Maintain communication with relevant departments in order to find the most timely and cost effective solutions.
6.EHS & Compliance: Follow up all applicable EHS procedures and rules. Behave safely and report all accidents and incidents regardless severity. In cooperation with EHSS coordinate safety audits. Follow up the outcomes of these audits and initiate all needed interventions. Control that all technical norms, standards, directives and instructions are followed with main aim to ensure keeping of EHSS rules. Ensure that all activities in scope are carried out in line with related Egyptian Legislation and TBTD EHS Policy & Procedures.
